Speaking on the 2015 award, the founder, Titi Aboyade Cole said “we are glad to be back, bigger and better. This time, the ceremony will hold in London. The concept of Podium Recognition Awards has been expanded and its going to be amazing package this year. This is the first time we are going to be having awardees and guests comīng to London. The award categories have become more interesting and they have become more competitive”.
“The wives of the Governors of Ogun and Oyo States are to be honoured with Special Awards at the event in London. Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, a staunch female politician and Commissioner for Women Affairs in Ondo State, Mrs Olasinmi Odunmbaku will be honoured too. Selected winners in different sectors including law, medicine, entertainment and business will also receive honours at this year’s edition”.

Speaking further, Aboyade-Cole stated that the first ever BOAC Posthumous Awards will be presented to the families of three late winners who did well for Nigerian Music; Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister,OJB Jezreel and Goldie Harvey at this year’s edition.
